This week on the podcast, I’m talking about my Pets Get Visible membership so you can see whether you might be a good fit to be part of it.
It’s an affordable solution for pet business owners who want to feel comfortable and confident talking about what they do.
For pet professionals who want to be consistent with their marketing so they reach more people and make more sales.
This episode talks you through the different elements of the membership and how they work, to help you decide whether you’d be a good fit to join.
If you’d like to be part of this community, it’s just £30 a month and you can join by clicking here.
Listen in on the player link below or you can read the key points as a blog post.
What Pets Get Visible is
I created this membership to tackle that feeling of being stuck and overwhelmed when it comes to marketing your business.
There’s just so much information out there, new trends popping up constantly.
You can’t help but think, “Agghhh, what should I be doing? And how am I supposed to do so many things!”
Pets Get Visible is about helping take away that overwhelm.
In the training sessions, I walk you through how to communicate about your work in a way that feels true to you.
That could be crafting a blog post, a press release, or a social media update, or creating compelling case studies and client stories that highlight the impact of what you do.
Inside Pets Get Visible, you’ll find all the tools and support you need to confidently promote your product or service without feeling like you’re drowning in information overload.
How the learning resources work
There’s a library containing simple resources covering blogging, content marketing, getting press coverage, social media, coming up with marketing ideas, writing sales post prompts, using AI, and lots more.
You’ll find templates and video and audio recordings, and they’re accessible on your phone, iPad, or computer.
The monthly workshops
Each month I run a live 60-minute workshop on a topic around publicity and visibility with a workbook for you to capture what you learn.
The topics come from questions that arise in the community Facebook group and on the coaching calls, so it’s what members are looking for support with.
Examples of past and upcoming workshops include Press Coverage for Pet Businesses, Article Writing, Award Applications, Interview Skills, and Photography for Pet Businesses.
You’re invited to join in live, and there is a question and answer session at the end of the workshop, and if you can’t make it live, you can watch the replay in the learning portal.
Planning resources
Each month you’ll have access to forward planning tools for the month ahead, so at the start of February, you’ll be sent your content inspiration for March.
This includes a PDF with the monthly themes and awareness days so you can check whether there is a peg or angle for you to talk about your product or service.
For example, in March, it’s Pet Anxiety Month and Dogs In Yellow Day on March 20th, so if you make calming products, or work with anxious animals, this is an awareness date you’ll want to use in your marketing.
You might pitch to the press, create a fresh service or workshop focusing on that theme, and because you have time to plan, you boost your chance of it being a success.
The planning PDF with the key dates on and video training is stored inside a learning portal that you can log into at any time.
How the coaching calls work
There are two calls each month, and this is a place where you can come and talk through your ideas and your challenges and get support.
There’s no ‘cookie-cutter’ formula; instead, you’ll experience person-centred coaching, which focuses on you as an individual and your business.
If you’re trying to figure out stuff on your own and there’s a bump in the road or something that you are struggling with, you can get stuck.
You have support and insights from everyone on the call too, not just me, and the coaching element is to help you navigate obstacles and move forward.
Plus you’ve become accountable by sharing in the group, so you make things happen!

How the co-working works
This is where you get your content DONE. It’s all very well having your notes and ideas floating around, but life can get in the way.
I put on THREE co-working sessions each month so you can get your content for the following month done, posts written, graphics made, posts scheduled.
Then you can go back to doing what you enjoy, knowing your marketing is ticking over, bringing people into your world.
They are hour-long sessions on Zoom.
Listen to Nina Fotara from Confident Canine Gundog Training talk about how she uses the calls at 23.15 minutes here.
How the community element works
There’s a private Facebook group where you can get support and advice, share your wins, ask questions, find people to collaborate with, and be around people who share similar goals.
We have weekly threads to help you get focused and feel inspired, people who ‘get it’ to tell you you’re doing ok when you need it and a place where you can celebrate your wins too.
How the directory works
Each member has a listing on my pet blog, www.thepawpost.co.uk
This has been in the UK top ten pet blogs as voted by media monitoring service Vuelio for the last seven years.
It’s a trusted platform for pet owners and a way for your product or service to be discovered.
It’s important to build credible backlinks to your website to improve your ranking on Google.
Backlinks are like endorsements for you and your site, and the more you have, the higher search engines regard you.
