Should you join my 2026 pet business content planning day?

Spread the love:

If youโ€™re tired of being told what you should be doing in your business, and you’d space to figure things out for yourself, then my Pet Business Content Planning event is for you.

In this episode and blog post, learn what to expect from my 2026 online content planning day – who itโ€™s for, who itโ€™s not for, whatโ€™s included, and why itโ€™s part of a support package called The Planner Club.

This post is about why I created something that isnโ€™t about trends, strategy, or adding more to your to-do list.

Itโ€™s about self-trust, clarity, and making a plan that fits your business – not someone elseโ€™s.

Listen in on the player link below or you can read the key points as a blog post.

Why I created this event (and why itโ€™s different)

Over the years, Iโ€™ve been to events that left me feeling like I needed to do more – more platforms, more content, more strategies.

And while thereโ€™s a time and place for learning new things, sometimes we just need space to figure out whatโ€™s right for us.

This planning event isnโ€™t about being taught the latest hacks.

Itโ€™s about having the time, support and structure to get clear on your goals for 2026 and start building a plan you actually want to follow.

I was inspired by a podcast from Denise Duffield Thomas called โ€œWhat are you really charging for?โ€ where she talked about how experiences can be more helpful than information.

What to expect on the day

The 2026 online content planning day is happening on Monday, 24th November and is included as part of my Planner Club.

Itโ€™s structured to help you gently work through your year – with short talks, planning prompts, breakout sessions, and plenty of space to plan and think.

Whatโ€™s included in The Planner Club?

This event is part of The Planner Club.

When you join, you get:

  • A physical copy of the 2026 Pet Business Content Planner
  • Access to the online planning day (24th November)
  • Quarterly planning sessions in December, March, June, and September
  • Co-working mornings throughout the year for focus and accountability

Itโ€™s designed to help you stay consistent and clear throughout the whole of 2026 – not just at the start of the year.

The Pet Business Content Planner for 2026

Itโ€™s not about someone elseโ€™s system

Iโ€™ve spent thousands on other peopleโ€™s systems. Templates, formulas, marketing coursesโ€ฆ and while theyโ€™ve sometimes helped, the truth is: someone elseโ€™s system is for them.

What works for you might look different – and thatโ€™s okay.

This is a framework I love from brand expert Rachel Vigers at Rock Partners.

She simplifies business planning down to four things:

  1. Direction – Where is your business going?
  2. Connection – Why should people care?
  3. Impact – What do you actually do and why does it matter?
  4. Differentiation – What makes you different?

This is something to consider when you’re thinking of the year ahead, and ways to communicate the four key elements.

So not the latest trending music or a template, but thinking about what you’re doing the the direction you’re heading in and what you want from the coming year.

Why I wonโ€™t be on YouTube anytime soon

One part of the podcast is a bit of a rant about being told I should be on YouTube.

I get emails weekly from SEO companies telling me Iโ€™m โ€œleaving money on the tableโ€ by not uploading my podcast there.

But – I donโ€™t want to be on YouTube.

Iโ€™m self-conscious. I grew up being told that having ginger hair, freckles, a skinny frame and a smashed-up nose made me unlovable.

I got my teeth kicked in by a horse and broke my nose falling off another. I have false teeth and a really wonky nose and I can’t stand looking at myself on video!

So no matter how โ€œgreat for growthโ€ YouTube might be, Iโ€™m not adding something that doesnโ€™t feel good just because someone else says I should.

This event is built on that same principle – you donโ€™t need to do everything. You need to do whatโ€™s right for you.

Who this event isnโ€™t for

This event isnโ€™t for you if:

  • Youโ€™re looking for a step-by-step system
  • You want lots of expert advice or marketing tactics
  • Youโ€™re planning to add more to your already packed business

Who this event is for

This event is for you if:

  • You want to feel calm and focused heading into 2026
  • Youโ€™re ready to plan a business year thatโ€™s tailored to you
  • You want time, support, and structure – without pressure
The event is online and it’s about having time and space to think about what you want from 2026

Final thoughts: building self-trust over chasing shiny things

The big theme behind this event – and this blog – is self-trust.

Itโ€™s the opposite of chasing trends, jumping on new platforms, or waiting for a strategy to fix everything.

You know what your business needs. My job is to create a space where you can hear yourself think – and make a plan that reflects your goals, your values, and your way forward.
