Introducing the Pet Business Content Planner and Companion

Are you looking for a Pet Business Planner that can help you with your marketing and provide support when challenges come along?

Introducing – the Pet Business Content Planner and Companion, designed for people in the pet industry to help with visibility.

It has everything you’d look for in a Content Planner, like monthly themes, awareness days, and space to capture your ideas, goals, and reflections.

The Companion part is a guided journal, with exercises to help you navigate the common challenges that come along.

I’m so excited to share this planner with you because it brings together everything I’ve noticed my clients need since I started working as a publicity and visibility coach back in 2019.

Plus, it has exercises to help with your mindset and be there, by your side, or in your handbag, when you need support and encouragement.

I’m talking through how the planner works in this episode, and you can listen in on the player link below or read the key points here in the blog.

What is the Pet Business Content Planner?

It’s a physical A5 hard backed diary where you can write everything down – your ideas, your plans, your goals.

It’s designed to help you stay on top of things like your social media, emails, website content, videos, press opportunities, and more.

It’s about helping you stay visible and front of mind with the people who need what you offer.

When you’re visible and consistent, you’re more likely to make sales and grow your business. But more importantly, it’s about helping you feel calm and in control, rather than scrambling to keep up.

How often do you think, “Agghh, I haven’t sent a newsletter in months,” or “I’ve got this brilliant new product, but I’ve not even talked about it”?

This planner is here to help with all that, so you can show up consistently and feel good about it.

What’s inside the Pet Business Content Planner?

I’ve packed the planner with tools and resources that I know you’ll find helpful.

Here’s a rundown of what’s inside:

  • Monthly content ideas and prompts – Every month has awareness days, key themes, and space for brainstorming. So, for example, if March is Pet Anxiety Month or November is Senior Pet Month, you can plan ahead and tie your content to these themes.
  • A week-per-view layout – Each week is spread across two pages, with space for notes, daily plans, and a habit tracker.
  • Monthly goals – At the start of each month, you can set your focus and goals – whether it’s launching a podcast, getting press coverage, or taking Friday afternoons off!
  • Reflective prompts – At the end of the month, there’s space to reflect on what worked well, lessons learned, and what to carry forward.
  • Words for when – This is what makes this planner different from any other out there. These are guided journaling prompts to help you through those wobbly moments – like when imposter syndrome kicks in, or you’re procrastinating and need a little nudge. There are also prompts for when you want to celebrate something amazing you’ve achieved.

It’s an A5 hardcover planner with 132 pages, so it’s sturdy enough to go in your bag but still practical to write in.

Why I made this planner

I’ve been working with pet businesses for over five years, and in that time, I’ve noticed the same challenges cropping up again and again. Things like:

  • Struggling with confidence or procrastinating when it comes to showing up.
  • Feeling overwhelmed by all the things you could be doing.
  • Worrying about whether you’re getting it right.

This planner pulls together everything I’ve learned, both from my own experience and through coaching, as a tool that supports you in a practical and emotional way.

It’s not just about content ideas – it’s about helping you feel calm, confident, and ready to take action, whether that’s planning your next campaign or tackling a tricky moment with the Words for When prompts.

There’s no “right” way to use this planner – it’s designed for you.

You can use it:

  • To set your goals at the start of each month and reflect at the end.
  • To capture your wins, lessons learned, and those lightbulb moments.
  • To feel supported when you need it with the guided journaling exercises.

Maybe you use it every morning with your cup of tea to jot down your plans, or maybe you dip into it once a week for a quick check-in.

It’s there to support you in the way that works best for you.
